How to Change Your Piercing Jewelry

Every closure opens a little differently. Here’s how to put in and take out each style we make.

Only change jewelry in a fully healed piercing. Wash your hands first and go slowly. If it hurts or feels stuck, stop and see a professional piercer.

Know your jewelry

Flat backs have a smooth disc instead of a butterfly back, so they sit flat against your skin. Hoops close without a sharp end. Every piece is ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium and nickel-free.

  1. Slide the post through your piercing from the back, disc against your skin.
  2. Push the pin of the top straight into the post until it sits flush.
  3. Give it a light tug to make sure it’s secure.
